Congratulations Julian!
Triple congratulations to Julian Gollop! Today, 7th March is Julian's birthday just after some days before became father of a lovely couple of twins. I wish to Julian, his wife Reni and to the newborns a lot more happy days like this one.
Talking about happy days, I remember that between 25 and 31 of March Ubisoft Sofia will release worldwide Julian's new creation Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars. The release of this game is intended to match Nintendo 3DS launch.

Updates to Ghost Recon project developed by Julian Gollop
In 28th November 2010, Julian's Gollop project was formally announced as Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Lead the Ghosts. However title was later changed to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars. There is still some uncertain in release date but is expected to came out in Spring 2011 at same time as Nintendo 3DS is debuted. We guess then that will be out at March 2011. We will follow and post new updates when available.
Retrogamer #81 with Julian Gollop special feature
Finally after some months in the forge a special article about Julian Gollop that even includes an interview is out in Retrogamer #81. I'm happy that Julian had such tribute and when I was contacted by Retrogamer author Mike Bevan to permit inclusion of some material from the site I was delight to agreed. The Interview is perhaps the most vast available till now. A collector piece for any Gollop fan.
You can check Retrogamer #81 contents in a preview by Daz (Retrogamer editor) in Youtube.
Retro Gamer Issue 81
Julian Gollop working in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Lead the Ghosts for Nintendo 3DS?
Following an article in Gamasutra about a licensed "milk-the-cow" 50's retro-look X-Com game title in development, Julian Gollop announced in comments section that he is working in a turn-based title for Nintendo 3DS. Julian since 2007 works at Ubisoft Sofia (Bulgaria) and Tiny Cartridge suspects that the project well maybe be Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Lead the Ghosts (not really final and confirmed title) that is announced being developed at Ubisoft Sofia and I totally agree with that theory. Let's face it, by the look the game seems a "clone" of former Rebelstar Tactical Command for Nintendo DS. Game is still in early development and yet without release date. Also is not officially confirmed Gollop's connection but I think that soon the doubts will probably clarified.
Note: Julian Gollop is no way related with the 50's X-Com version in development.
